Frequently asked questions
Hypnosis sessions are offered online because many people naturally relax more deeply in a space that already feels familiar, safe, and comfortable to them.
Being in your own environment also allows the experience to continue unfolding after the session, without needing to immediately transition back into travel or outside stimulation.
Online sessions offer the same personal, one-to-one experience while fitting more naturally into everyday life.
If you have any questions, you’re welcome to ask during the consultation or send me an email anytime.
All you need is a phone, tablet, or computer with a camera and a comfortable place where you feel relaxed. Simply place the screen somewhere I can see your face and hands during the session.
You are welcome to lie down somewhere comfortable, such as a bed or sofa, or simply sit if you prefer. There is no strict setup as long as you feel comfortable and supported.
During the session, you are always free to speak, move your body, adjust your position, use the bathroom, or pause if needed.
Your environment does not need to be perfect, and background noises are completely okay.
This approach to hypnosis focuses on resolving challenges at their root, rather than only addressing the surface symptoms. When approached with trust and readiness, it can lead to meaningful and sustainable change in your life.
Like any personal work, results depend on the individual. The most important factor is not the type of issue you bring, but your openness to the process — simply allowing for the possibility that things can feel different, lighter, or easier than they have before.
Language is rarely a barrier in this work, and basic English is more than enough.
This approach does not rely on the analytical part of the brain that interprets language. You do not need to follow, analyse, or fully understand everything being said for the process to be effective. The process takes place beyond conscious thinking.
Many clients do not speak English in their daily lives and still experience meaningful shifts.
Some clients come to me after previous hypnosis experiences where they were told they “couldn’t be hypnotized.”
In my experience, it comes down to preparation and expectations prior to the hypnosis work. This is why the consultation is such an important part of the work — it allows you to ask questions, orient you to the work, so that you know what to expect.
I’ve worked with many people who considered themselves “over-thinkers,” “couldn't let go,” or “hard to hypnotize,” and these have never been a barrier to meaningful change.
I understand this concern personally because I once believed hypnosis didn't work for me either. That allows me to truly understand the kind of the preparation that can make a real difference, especially for people who feel skeptical, analytical, or who may have had disappointing experience elsewhere.
No, you do not need to share anything you are not comfortable talking about. And you do not need to relive past experiences.
This approach to hypnosis was developed with deep emotional and traumatic experiences in mind — experiences that can feel painful or difficult to revisit.
One of the unique aspects of this work is that it does not require you to explain what brought you here, relive past memories, or revisit experiences you would rather keep private.
You are welcome to share as much or as little as feels right for you.
No. Hypnosis is not mind control. You remain aware and in control throughout the work. You can open your eyes, speak, move around, get up at any time.
Hypnosis is simply a relaxed and focused state where your attention turns inward, making it easier to access deeper patterns.
Except for a phone, tablet, or computer for online sessions, there is nothing else you need to prepare.
The most important thing is simply to come with openness. You do not need to fully understand hypnosis or “do it correctly”. This work takes place beyond your analytical mind.
You simply allow the work to take place, just as naturally as you allow yourself to breathe or hold your breath at any moment.
Often people feel deeply relaxed, lighter, clearer, emotionally calm, or more connected to themselves. Many also say it feels like they just had a very deep and restful sleep.
It is also completely normal to feel a little tired right after the session. Give yourself some hydration or simply a slower pace. This passes naturally, and people often later feel refreshed, lighter, and more grounded.
Your first session is more foundational and typically lasts around 1.5–2 hours. Follow-up sessions are usually shorter and generally last around 45–90 minutes.
Because this work is adapted to each individual in the moment, there is no rigid structure. Sessions naturally stay flexible to what feels most supportive and aligned for you.
You do not actually fall asleep during hypnosis, even though it can sometimes feel that way afterward.
You remain aware throughout the session and can still hear, respond, move, or open your eyes if they want to.
Even if you feel deeply relaxed or drift in and out, your deeper mind is still taking in the experience and responding to the process.
In some companies, hypnosis work is eligible under a training, coaching, leadership development, or wellbeing budget.
This depends on your employer’s internal policy, so I recommend checking with your HR or people team first. I will provide an invoice with the relevant session details for reimbursement purposes.
People seek this work not only during difficult moments, but also to support growth, resilience, and greater capacity in both personal and professional life. This can include areas such as confidence, public speaking, stress management, performance, emotional resilience, leadership presence, and burnout prevention.
